This is my latest attempt to provide MEANINGFUL sources of information for owners. It is not intended to be a comprehensive list. Please contact me with suggested additions that you think would be valuable to other Simplicity/AC owners.
Agco Dealer Locator -- Find your closest local dealer Simplicity Dealer Locator -- Find your closest local dealer Jack's Small Engines -- Order Simplicity parts on-line from one of our advertisers. Online database is a great resource to check prices and availability, if you know the part number. Jeff Neme's Used Mower Network -- Long-time Simplicity dealer, one of our advertisers. Has lots of used tractors & attachments! Al Eden's Edens Limited and Repower Engineering -- One of our first club members; contributor and supporter of this site. Long-time Simplicity dealer who also offers complete engine replacement kits to put new twin OHV or OHC engines in older tractors. Sandy Lake Implement -- Long-time Allis-Chalmers and Simplicity dealer, in addition to one of our advertisers. They strongly support the old Allis L&G equipment, and reproduce many of the most sought-after parts for restorations, such as decals, seat cushions, etc. Swanstons -- One of the oldest Simplicity/Agco dealers in Eastern Canada. Tennies Parts & Service Center -- Long-time dealer with a large parts inventory. One of our primary sponsors, they're located within 20 miles of Simplicity, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, and Tecumseh factories. Terpstra Equipment Repair & Parts -- Another Canadian Simplicity and Ingersoll Dealer. Yetman's -- Canadian Simplicity Distributor with a wealth of info and links -- a must visit! Great starting point to find online parts breakdowns, technical reference material, manufacturers, tools, etc. Aftermarket Parts, Supplies and Attachments Agri-Fab -- Aftermarket attachment manufacturer, very similar to Brinly-Hardy below. Also produces mow-n-vac leaf and grass collection systems. Agri-Supply's On-Line Catalog -- Extensive online catalog. Some parts, but several attachments for lawn and garden equipment. Brinly-Hardy Co. -- Probably the largest manufacturer of aftermarket implements for both sleeve hitch and category "0" rear hitch: aerators, sweepers, dethatchers, spreaders, carts, rollers, sprayers, plows, disc harrows, cultivators, rear blades and box scrapers... No dealer locator, but an e-mail link to request closest dealer. Carlisle Tires -- Specs for garden tractor tires, but no ordering. See link below. Cedar Rapids Tire -- Online ordering of Carlisle, Goodyear, and Titan brands. Some of the lowest prices I've found for Ag-type bar tires especially... Classic Ag -- Limited source for AC decals & logos (general, plus big tractors) Harbor Freight -- Source for inexpensive hand tools, workshop tools, and the like. Manufacturer's Supply On-line Catalog -- Similar to Agri-Supply above, with much larger listings for lawn and garden parts, including some cross-referencing information (mostly belts). Northern Tool & Equipment (formerly Northern Hydraulics) -- Several attachments, replacement engines, plus accessories PORShop -- Online ordering through this leading distributor of POR-15, a system to permanently repair and prevent rust. (early and late model), B-12, B-110, B-112, HB-112, HB-112, B-210, B-212,
HB-212 and 310. They DO NOT have Simplicity decals. Owner, Operator, Parts & Service Manuals Simplicity's Publications Department -- Simplicity normally stocks OEM owner, parts and service manuals for at least 30 years. You can now download many of them online, for free. You can order printed manuals direct, via phone, and have them delivered in 3-5 days. Briggs & Stratton Engines -- Great resource! On-line model identification and parts lists, plus the ability to order Owners Manuals, Repair Manuals and special tools necessary (print & mail, not direct online ordering). Go to the Engine Support and Maintenance section. You need to "register" first. (You can order the B&S manuals online through Jacks Small Engines, above.) Jensales -- Most comprehensive place that I've found to order OLD AC garden tractor manuals on-line, especially for the AC-unique 300 & 400 series tractors. Not that many AC manuals are available from Simplicity, below, though they can often provide a Simplicity equivalent. Kohler Engines -- Online manuals for newest models only.
