sickle bar mowers for Allis-Chalmers lawn and garden tractors
Heavy weeds? Fields? Orchards? Allis Chalmers sickle bar mower is ideal for heavy growth and for fence row or roadside cutting. The sickle bar mower works well in rough terrain and on steep slopes. Outer and inner sickle bar shoes guide the cutter bar. Sickle bar mower cuts near-vertical slopes, or depresses to 40" below horizontal. Operating from the center power take-off, mower cuts up to 1.2 acres per hour. Sickle bar follows the contour of the ground for clean, uniform cutting. Bar quickly attaches to the side of the tractor without tools. A spring trip mechanism protects the bar against damage. Bar swings back when it hits an obstruction, recouples when you back tractor. No need to dismount. Tractor's hand lever lifts bar over obstructions and raises it to transport position. Click here to see the 46" Sickle Bar Specifications.
