Maynard Greenwood (UCD) provided these pictures from the Orange, MA, show from
Saturday, June 29th. There were at least five club members there, though
only 3 tractors in the club's little display area. On the left is Rob
Baumuller's (Rob-B) B-112 Allis with L-112 loader. My Big Ten with Johnny
Bucket and dump cart is in the center. On the right is a nice little
Broadmoor 717 that Jim Viera (JimV) brought to sell. I ended up buying it
for my neighbor -- who's very glad to have it, and consequently joined the
club... another "convert", or as my wife calls him "traitor."
There were at least three other Simplicity or Allis L&G
tractors that weren't a part of our little display area, including a complete,
solid Simplicity 725 that sold for $150 with a solid original 42" deck.
Though there weren't that many club members there, it was a gorgeous day and we
all had a great time. We also received a lot of attention from
visitors.... I'm already planning on next year!
Kent
One of the many unusual garden tractors
there. What brand was most numerous? Surprisingly, it was
probably Pennsylvania Panzers... they seemed to be a favorite of the
collectors.
