Simplicity Belt Reference
Use the following table to find the correct Simplicity OEM belt if your
tractor was manufactured on or before 1981. In addition to lawn and garden
tractors, it contains many implements, walking tractors, snowthrowers and lawn
mowers. If you own an Allis-Chalmers, you can determine the equivalent
Simplicity tractor using the Model
Cross-Reference Table. (Note that there is NO Simplicity equivalent to
AC 300 or 400 series tractors.)
You must first know the Manufacturer Number (Mfg. No.). You will find
the Belt Length (in inches) listed with each belt, and can then determine the
proper cross-section for the belt using the 3 pages at the end.
NOTE: We
recommend that you use only Simplicity OEM drive belts for the PTO and
transmission, especially. We've found that less-expensive aftermarket
belts, even those that are "Power Rated" do not seem to last as long
as OEM belts.
TIP: You can
also use "Search This Site" to search the entire website to find all
references to a specific Part Number or Manufacturer Number. The correct
page(s) from the Belt Reference will look something like:
